In 2017, Neon was the answer. My instinctive response to being given the opportunity to have a solo show. I created this style years ago to answer the question in my mind that always lingered, are you ready? are you READY? ARE YOU READY? Neon became revelation.

In 2024, Neon was therapy. Therapy for a mind that had not had the opportunity to create art for 2 years. No matter how hard I tried especially for the last five months of those horrid years, I just couldn’t. Then I realised I needed to stop deliberately trying and ease myself back into it, with Neon. Neon became a return.
​
In 2025, Neon was confidence, rather audacity, as I took it to biggest art stages in Marble Arch and Shoreditch to critical acclaim and overwhelming positivity.
​
Today, Neon is my process.

THE OTHER ART FAIR, LONDON
March 6 – 9, 2025
The Truman Brewery, UK
Showcasing his latest abstract NEON originals as well as digital self portrait, Lawyartist received hundreds if not thousands of visitors at his booth during the most recent iteration of the prestigious Other Art Fair in East London.
​
Audiences of all ages and interests were amazed by the colours, technique and richness of the colours on display.
​
Lawyartist, also in his trademark style, had something interactive for his audience to colour and even tag with their own doodles.
​

NEON THE EXHIBITION
DECEMBER 8 - 10, 2017
16 by 16, VI, Lagos
Lawyartist's debut solo exhibition featured twenty (20) unique pieces shown at the 16/16 Gallery, Victoria Island, Lagos. Most of these pieces although abstract were very detailed.
Audience reactions ranged from feeling sensations of hunger while staring at (Neon worms II) Abel and Jackson Pollock vibes when taking in Abel (Neon worms I).
